Hi! My name is Devin, or Dev— whichever you prefer. Some call me DK, which is definitely on the cooler side of the nickname spectrum. I've been in the tech industry since 2019. I currently hold an associate degree in IT and have achieved a handful of certifications, such as the CCNA and JNCIS-SP, as well as some fiber training certifications. I work in the service provider field.
I'm currently studying for my JNCIP-SP and have decided that this website will be the best way for me to prepare for it. I'm generally not the greatest note-taker when it comes to specific network topics. For example, I don't find much value in writing every in-depth detail about an MPLS header, then closing notepad, only to revisit that note months later and realize it’s not actually that helpful. 99% of the time, instead of looking at notes about how a topic works, I’m more likely to research online to find my answer.
So this website is ultimately a place to be a bit more creative in the learning process, covering JNCIP-SP topics and building/labbing more real-world examples to produce something that might actually help someone else as well. In summary, I'd rather talk about how addition is useful in math than simply write down that 2+2=4.
